"Had insurance with this agent for over 25 years. In 1999 they cancelled my auto insurance at my soon to be ex-wife's request after a judge ordered that she maintain the coverage. Called to explain the situation and was prepared to show them the order. Jeff refused to take my calls and his office staff told me sorry and that there was nothing they were willing to do and were quite rude. They didn't even want to set me up with a new policy. Ok fine. As result I just never held auto insurance with them again but the memory as to why stuck with me for years. I, however, Kept my homeowners policy through them just based on convenience. Then this past Saturday before New Years I got a letter stating they were not renewing my homeowners policy for failure to reply to a letter sent on November 18th. I never received a letter dated November 18th. You would think if a letter was important enough that a failed response would get your policy cancelled, it would come via certified mail. Anyhow, Called Sate Farm's 800 number and agent stated they had no record of either of the letters and that it was pretty much a mystery. He told me that my agent would be back in office on Jan 2nd at 9am and he will alert him to call me first thing on that day to rectify the issue. Three days later and I find that apparently my 25 years of business, with zero claims wasn't worth the effort of a phone call much less an explanation. My house could use a little paint but is otherwise in good condition with a brand new furnace and heat pump, 10 years left on the roof life. Thank goodness I never had to deal with a claim, who knows how that would have went. I would HIGHLY recommend staying clear of State Farm and especially THIS agent. Neither live up to their motto. If you need someone to be there when you need it, look elsewhere."

"He didn’t send all my evidence / pictures etc. into claims. Hard to get on the phone. He would promise to get back to us. He never did. Took 3 months and 50+ phone calls and text messages. Finally had to go to someone else to get it settled. This was all for a $1300 claim. Not sure what would happen if my house burnt down? Probably take three years to get it settled. We will be looking for another insurance company. First claim in 30 years, not a good experience."
